Who We Are
Nashville Housing Solutions (NHS) is a nonprofit developer advancing affordable housing and equity across Tennessee. Our leadership team brings together deep community roots, minority representation, and professional expertise in housing and development. Together, we strengthen partnerships with local governments, communities of faith, and private sector allies to expand housing opportunities statewide.
Our Mission
To expand affordable housing across Tennessee by leveraging public land, strategic partnerships, and sustainable construction methods.
Through government support in the form of land donations, construction grants, and tax incentives we address the shortage of affordable homes for low- and moderate-income families across Tennessee.
In Middle Tennessee, rising housing costs are putting pressure on families earning below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI), who struggle to find affordable homes. Although publicly owned vacant land is available, it often sits idle without targeted nonprofit development—leaving critical housing needs unmet as demand continues to grow.

Nashville Housing Solutions works hand-in-hand with our development partner, Nashville Design Builders (NDB) — a Go-BID Certified Minority Business Enterprise and Tennessee Unlimited Residential & Commercial Contractor. Together, we ensure projects move seamlessly from vision and planning to construction and completion.

Together, NHS and NDB form a nonprofit–developer hybrid model to deliver affordable housing that is both mission-driven and financially sustainable.

Rev. Enoch Fuzz
Reverend Enoch is a respected Tennessee faith leader and community advocate with decades of service to families and neighborhoods. Widely recognized for his outreach and public leadership. Rev. Fuzz leverages vital relationships to help NHS build trust and expand partnerships across the state.

Abner Rodgers
Abner is an experienced contractor and developer with more than 30 years in residential and commercial construction throughout Tennessee. His expertise in project delivery, union partnerships, and workforce development ensures NHS projects meet the highest standards of quality and community benefit.
Mohammad Omari
Mohammad is a business leader and housing developer dedicated to advancing affordable housing and supporting minority communities across Tennessee. With expertise in real estate development and nonprofit governance, he forges public-private partnerships that increase access to sustainable, equitable housing statewide.
Jackie Sims
Jackie Sims is a nationally recognized community leader specializing in nonprofit strategy, equity-driven initiatives, and community development. She is known for advancing mission-focused programs and cultivating strategic partnerships that expand access to affordable housing and promote long-term community stability in alignment with the mission of Nashville Housing Solutions.
